Ransom Note return to the Waiting Room in June with another special friends and family lineup.
Heading up the bill is Julienne Dessagne aka Fantastic Twins. After she had the Renate dancefloor transfixed at our party in Berlin the other month, we knew we had to try and recreate the magic on this side of the Channel. Remarkably, this is the first time Dessagne has ever brought her analogue-driven live show to London.
Originally devised for a collaboration with Pachanga Boys, the Fantastic Twins project quickly took on a life of its own, leading up to last year's stellar pair of releases on Hippie Dance and Optimo Music. Her music unfolds with the elegance and controlled violence of a contemporary dance peformance, and we can't wait to welcome her to one of East London's best venues.
Fantastic Twins has remixed a song by C.A.R. for the forthcoming 'PINNED Down' remix EP on Ransom Note Records.
C.A.R. will also be DJing on the night B2B with Harry James [SC&P]. Expect a hefty serving of the finest coldwave, techno and weirdo pop gems.
